New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services
Reducing the tobacco rates of New Hampshire (NH) residents, through the use of evidence-based prevention and intervention strategies, is a public health priority in NH. New Hampshire smoking-related medical expenditures and lost productivity costs approximately $1.5 billion annually.
Tobacco use is the number one cause of preventable death in the United States and New Hampshire. The Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program (TPCP) is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of New Hampshire, and is dedicated to the implementation of a comprehensive program designed to reduce the prevalence and consumption of tobacco use in New Hampshire by educating the public and helping them quit tobacco use.
Try to stop. We can help.
